Uprooting My Family Tree

This website is dedicated to the memory of Mr. Earl C. Chapin (1919-2000), who got me started in Genealogy back in January 1990. Although he is no longer with us, his help, wisdom, and hours of insightful conversation, will never be forgotten.

Welcome to my family tree page. Any helpful comments are always welcome, and appreciated. I also hope that maybe you might see something familiar in the postings.

PLEASE don't forget to check out my list of "dead ends"!!. Perhaps you can be of some help!..

I Would like to thank the people of Huron County, Ohio for helping to bring to a close my research on one family living there in the 1800's, which took me nearly 10 years. Thanks to members of the Huron County Genealogical Society, as well as the New London Public Library, who were a great help over the last few of those years. Below is a link to the Huron County website.
