I stamp the lighthouse on the slate with embossing ink or pigment ink. I then use black detail embossing powder and heat the image (be careful it gets REAL hot!!).
After that I use Radiant Pearls to paint the picture. When I'm satisfied with the way the paints look on the picture I then sprinkle clear detail embossing powder all over it. I heat the embossing powder until it is set and then let the slate cool.
It's done! Pretty easy, huh? Oh, I never left the Radiant Pearls on the slate without sealing with the clear embossing powder as I was not sure it would dry...but maybe it's time I did. If it does and I like the way it looks I'll add it to these directions.
